If your device is connected, the image will appear on the dashboard of your software, with 3 different tabs either at the upper left side or at the top of the homepage depending on how updated your software is. These tabs contain different functions depending on your device.

The first tab is the Assignments tab 

• Click on it, and little circles will appear on the buttons of the mouse, click on each button
• You’ll come across a handful of functions that are broken down by categories. Click on anyone you wish to assign to that button. (If you don’t want to assign anything to that button, there is a “do nothing” option at the bottom of the functions list) 
• Repeat these actions for every other button you wish to customize
