To access the powerful Logitech Flow feature, you’ll need to install the Logitech Options+ Software

Without installing and activating it, you won’t have access to make use of the flow software. 

To do this, you’ll need to 

• Search for  Logitech Options plus download  on your browser 
• Click on the first entry results from Logitech’s website, you’ll be directed to a Logitech download page where you will see the link to download for both Mac and Windows 
• Click on the link depending on which system you’re using and follow the onscreen instructions to download 
• If your peripheral is already connected, it’ll appear on the home page.  But if not, then you’ll need to connect them to the PC. 

Now that you’ve successfully downloaded the Logitech Options Plus, you’ll need to install it into your system which can be done with the following easy steps:

• Grant accessibility permissions (for Mac Os)
• Create an account/login if you already have an account 
• Once your account has been created, open the software.

1) Ensure your mouse is turned on. If it’s not, turn it on by clicking the on/off button located at the bottom of the mouse. 

2) Ensure your mouse has a good battery. To input or change the battery, you can:

Open the battery compartment located underneath the mouse.

Insert the batteries, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly.

Close the battery cover.

First, you need to ensure the software is running on both systems. Then you can set it up using the following steps: 

For Mouse 

• Open the Logitech options plus software on your primary system (you can choose any one of your systems to be your primary system)
• Click on your mouse image which will appear once connected to your homepage.
• Click on flow (third tab by your left-hand side) and click again on the setup flow 
• You’ll come across a page saying “Connect to another computer(s), click on continue.
• From that point, the flow features will automatically scan for any other connected device and systems that are currently running the Options Plus software. 
• If it’s successful, it’ll say “successfully connected” and click on “Continue” 
• Both computer folders will appear on the screen, you can move them around anyhow to the way your system is set (placing a folder in the right if the system is also placed in the right)

Can I turn off Logitech Flow if I don’t want to use it temporarily?

If you want to turn off the flow features, go to the upper right of the page you’ll see ‘flow’ written in front of a toggle switch, turn it off.

For Keyboard 

After your mouse flow has been activated, you can activate your keyboard’s flow as well by: 

• Clicking on the toggle switch “link keyboard”, this switch is found in the settings.
• Click on the “more keys” bar directly under the link keyboard setting and select your keyboard if it doesn’t automatically connect.

Move Cursor To The Edge: This setting is automatically turned on by default. It allows you to move between your systems by moving your cursor to the edge of one system and switching to the other. 

Hold Control And Move Cursor To The Edge: 

If you want to gain more cursor control and avoid moving automatically to the next system, this setting allows you to avoid that, so you’ll need to click on the “control (Ctrl) button” before it switches. 

Copy And Paste:

This toggle switch allows you to either enable the copy and paste function or not, depending on what’s needed by you.

• Click on the “add a computer” at the bottom left of the flow page 
• Ensure your peripherals are connected to the other systems, and the options plus software is also running on them. 
• It would automatically start searching for other connected devices in the network and connect it. 

Troubleshooting Tips 

There is a probability that you’ll encounter some issues when setting up your Logitech flow features. So here are some common issues you’re likely to encounter and their solutions. 

Why has Logitech Flow Copy And Paste Not been working?

This is usually caused by a lot of things such as not enabling the toggle or not giving accessibility to the software (for Mac) 

Here are easy fixes for it:

1. Open your Logitech Options Plus and click on your connects the mouse’s image (if you’re connecting both a mouse and a keyboard, whatever changes you make with the mouse will be followed by the keyboard)
2. Click on the flow tab (second tab by your left) 
3. Ensure the flow toggle switch is switched on 
4. On the top right, click on more settings 
5. Go to the copy and paste setting and switch on the toggle switch in front of it.

This should fix your copy and pasting issues, go ahead and test it out. This step is usable for Mac Os and Windows systems, but there’s another easy fix specifically for those using the Mac Os system which is 

1. Go to your Apple menu 
2. Click on system preferences 
3. Search and click on the security and privacy 
4. Go to the Privacy tab (the last tab on the role at the top of the page)
5. Scroll down till where yes we have the Accessibility option, but before selecting it, you’ll need to click on the little padlock in the bottom left corner 
6. Type in your password or fingerprint to unlock it
7. Then go back and click on the Accessibility option 
8. Ensure the check mark is on for both Logitech Options and Logitech Options Plus (if you have both installed and if not, turn on the check mark of someone you have installed).
9. Do the same for the apps under the Input monitoring section (right below the Accessibility)
10. Click on the padlock to lock it.
11. Then start your glow feature and give your copy-paste another try. 

My Devices Aren’t Compatible 

This is mostly caused if:

• Your keyboard or mouse isn’t a Logitech peripheral, as the Logitech flow needs a Logitech Device to connect.
• If any of your devices are from an older era, they’re more likely not to work with the Logitech flow. 

So to fix this, you’ll need to ensure the following;

• Both devices you’re trying to use with the flow features are Logitech-made. 
• They’re newer models to easily work with the flow feature.

What should I do if Logitech Flow stops working?”

This issue is mostly caused because your systems aren’t connected to the same network.

To fix this, simply ensure you check your wireless networks and WI-FI to ensure they’re both connected under the same server.
